These two striking heritage vessels are a fixture on my ferry trip to Parramatta. The Royale (on the right) was crafted in 1972 under the expertise of Kurnell boat-builder Peter Bracken. The Royale was meticulously fashioned, drawing inspiration from the Regalia as a blueprint for its creation. After an 18-month construction process, the Royale gracefully took to the waters in 1974.

This painting has been exhibited in a number of shows.
