Acrylic on plywood.
9×5”
This painting was a Finalist in the recent 2026 Waverley Woollahra Art School 9x5 Landscape Prize.
The prize takes its inspiration from early impressionists who painted en plein air on materials at hand - the lids of cigar cases, measuring 9x5 inches in size.
This work is my comment on gentrification, happening across countless streets of major cities in Australia.
