I am continually inspired by the small corners and lovely old buildings in my neighbourhood. Walking to shops or school in the right mood offers new glimpses of familiar places. This one is a fruit shop that has been here for many years. It's a local favourite with an amazing array of lovely fruit and veg, smallgoods and speciality baked delights.

This painting even captures the classic Vespa and convertible that are regular sightings at this corner.

This painting was awarded a Very Highly Commended Award by judge Christine Webb at the 2025 Drummoyne Art Society Members Exhibition.
