There is something iconic about the view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Rocks area, from the rotunda at Observatory Hill park. The graceful curve of the bridge, echoed by the linear perspective of Lower Fort Street running towards the harbour, are a delight to an artist's eye.

This work depicts the details of the landscape faithfully, while indulging in the bright palette of a bright Sydney summer day.
